I am a Person-Centred Therapist currently working in Ayrshire in private practice and for several organisations. I studied at Strathclyde University and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (2002). I have a special interest in the mind - body connection and a deep appreciation of the ‘uniqueness’ of every individual.
I have worked in healthcare settings in Ayr and Kilmarnock and within a community based centre in Paisley. I have experience of working with many people bringing a wide range of issues. I am also an Affiliate Counsellor for a number of EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) Providers throughout the UK.
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor, a member of Person Centred Therapy Scotland (Web: www.pctscotland.co.uk ) and a member of WAPCEPC (World Association for Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counselling).
